Business Providing Their Own Beverage
Businesses participating as official Coffee & Cocoa Crawl stops will serve a coffee, cocoa, or specialty beverage they prepare in-house for crawl attendees during the event. This option allows businesses to showcase their creativity while driving foot traffic and connecting with the community during the winter season.
The DCP will provide a $100 stipend to each business preparing their own beverage to help cover supplies and ingredients.
A limited number of Cambro/hot beverage containers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for businesses that need them.
DCP will also provide sampling cups for guests who do not wish to use their mug, as well as a bucket for excess beverage disposal.
Participating businesses are expected to have a staff member on site to pour samples for attendees. We do not recommend self-serve stations, as this can lead to excess waste and inconsistent portions. We recommend 1–2 oz pours, as there are approximately 30 stops throughout the Crawl.
There is no cost to participate if you are providing your own beverage, and we truly appreciate the time and effort it takes to create a crafted drink. Cold beverages are welcome as well. Feel free to get creative — coffee or iced coffee, cocoa, tea or iced tea, cider, chai, or anything else you think attendees will enjoy. Just make it fun and tasty!
