XCEL ENERGY HOLIDAY LIGHTS PARADE

The Xcel Energy Holiday Lights Parade, hosted by the Downtown Community Partnership, is the annual kick-off to the holiday season for the Fargo-Moorhead community! Every year, thousands of spectators gather to enjoy a magical evening filled with holiday spirit, illuminated parade floats, marching units, and festive equestrian entries.

Date: Saturday, December 7th, 2024

Time: Parade begins at 6:30 PM (line-up starts at 5:00 PM)

Location: Parade route starts at 11th Street and Center Avenue

Check out the updated parade route for 2024! Due to road construction in Moorhead, the start of the route has been slightly altered. Be sure to plan ahead and find the best viewing spots for you and your family.


Important Details for Participants:

  • Line-up Time: 5:00 PM (unless otherwise instructed)
  • Line-up Location: Enter the parade route at 11th Street and Center Avenue
  • Parade Start: 6:30 PM sharp
