FM Kicks Band’s year-end concert unites jazz and visual art to support local jazz education
FARGO, ND — November 22, 2025 — The FM Kicks Band of Fargo-Moorhead invites the community to an evening where sound and color intertwine in Portrait in Seven Shades: A Collaborative Celebration of Art and Music, held at The Sanctuary Events Center on Saturday, November 22, 2025. The concert will feature a live performance of Ted Nash’s acclaimed jazz suite Portrait in Seven Shades, paired with newly commissioned works by three local artists, including an interactive live painting, created during the show.
This performance serves as the capstone of the Kicks Band’s year-end fundraiser, supporting the ensemble’s Summer Jazz Program—an initiative providing high-quality jazz education for local middle and high school students.
