Mason Jennings Songwriter Workshop & Meet and Greet

Sunday, June 14, 2026
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM (CDT)

Event Details

One of Minneapolis’s most beloved singer-songwriters comes to Jasper for an intimate afternoon of craft, conversation, and live music.

Born in Honolulu, raised in Pittsburgh, and rooted in Minneapolis, Mason Jennings has spent more than two decades writing songs that earn comparisons to Nick Drake, John Fahey, and Tom Waits — while sounding entirely like himself. Raw, introspective, and quietly powerful, his folk and Americana catalog has built a devoted following and earned the admiration of artists like Jack Johnson and Isaac Brock of Modest Mouse. On June 14th, he brings that world to Fargo.

The Experience

Songwriter Workshop | 3:00–5:00pm A small-group session with Mason exploring his process, his craft, and the stories behind the songs. As he puts it: “A song is like a boat on the water, and you’re trying to make it float with as few pieces as possible.”

Meet & Greet | 5:00pm Workshop ticket holders only. Time to connect before the evening begins.

Broadway Square Summer Concert Series | 7:30–9:00pm Mason opens the 2026 season on the outdoor stage, with an opening act to kick off the night. Workshop ticket holders receive reserved VIP seating with food and beverage service from Rosewild delivered straight to your seat. The concert is free and open to the public — general admission, no meet and greet.

Workshop + Meet & Greet + Reserved VIP Concert Seating: $100
