Lunch and a Movie at the Sons of Norway

Enjoy lunch and a showing of “A Heart Like Water”, a 48-minute film that explores life on the Dakota prairie in the late 19th century. It’s 1887 in the Dakota Territory. A husband and wife, isolated in this unsettled wilderness, struggle to keep their family together and their hopes alive as they fight bitter cold, disease, wild animals, and a crushing loneliness on the Dakota frontier. The film was produced by Daniel Bielinski, a professor at the University of Mary in Bismarck.

Come for lunch (11 am to 1:30 pm), then join us in the Juven Ballroom for the movie at 1 pm.
