The phrase "iron sharpens iron" means competing against the best makes us better. But your real competition is a past version of yourself.

Our Speaker: Morgan

Morgan Allora is an Addy Award-winning photographer, community organizer, and the founder of Studio Freshly. Originally from Minneapolis, Morgan moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area to attend Concordia College. Her academic journey was one of intentional evolution: starting in broadcasting and journalism, she pivoted to graduate with degrees in Public Relations and Graphic Design—a multi-disciplinary background that fuels her strategic and energetic approach to visual storytelling.

Since taking her creative business full-time in 2017, Morgan’s work has become a vibrant part of the downtown Fargo landscape. Whether she is bringing energy to food photography, mastering a 10ft by 10ft flatlay, being the official FM pride photographer or capturing an event exactly as it felt, Morgan specializes in lifestyle photography that shares a brand’s “special sauce.” Her work is visible throughout the community, from the windows of Wasabi and the signage of the Red River Market to MSUM billboards and the digital platforms of regional businesses.

As an organizer of CreativeMornings Fargo team and co-owner of The Foundry photo studio, Morgan is a passionate advocate for the next generation of creators. She lives in Moorhead with her wife, McKaila, and their Bernedoodle, Filson.

What is CreativeMornings?
CreativeMornings is a free monthly lecture series designed for creative communities. The concept is simple: a short talk one Friday morning a month.

Fargo's chapter started back in 2018. Our monthly event takes place on a Friday from 8:00am - 9:30am. It allows individuals to enjoy creative connections, inspire community, and create opportunities. Open to everyone, free, and hosted at the Plains Art Museum in downtown Fargo.
