Homing: Radical Re-membering is a solo exhibition by local, multi-media artist Alicia Hauff. This body of work examines the disconnect between contemporary life and the ecological, ancestral, and somatic systems that have long sustained human and non-human life. Since transitioning from community nursing to a multidisciplinary art practice in 2021, Hauff has been re-rooting and re-membering ancestral ways of moving and sensing in an increasingly fast-paced world. Drawing on her background in the healing sciences, her work encourages viewers to mend their own relationship with the land, and ultimately, the connection to their wildest, most natural selves.
