2025 Fargo Game Jam

Prairie Den

The Fargo Game Makers welcome you to the 2025 Fargo Game Jam where teams of up to four have two days to build a game! All skill levels are welcome!

There is no cost to participate! The event will have free snacks and stickers while supplies last.

Before Game Jam

October 26, 2025
- 6 PM: 1st round of theme selection (administered through an online form)

November 1, 2025
- 6 PM: Deadline for 1st round of theme selection
- The theme list will be narrowed to the top 5 results

November 2, 2025
- 6 PM: Final round of theme selection (administered through an online form)

Game Jam

November 7, 2025
- 4 PM: Theme is announced. The Prairie Den space will be available to participants and the Game Jam officially starts. Participants are encouraged to form teams at this time.
- 10 PM: The Prairie Den space will be closed.
November 8, 2025
- 8 AM: The Prairie Den space will be available to participants.
- 10 PM: The Prairie Den space will be closed.
November 9, 2025
- 8 AM: The Prairie Den space will be available to participants.
- 7 PM: Deadline for game jam entries. Teams will have the opportunity to present their game and playtest in-person. The voting period will begin.
- 8 PM: The Prairie Den space will be cleaned up and closed. This time will be flexible if more time is needed for playtesting.

After Game Jam

November 20, 2025
- 6:30 PM: The voting period ends. The Fargo Game Makers will meet in the Prairie Den space to announce winners and distribute prizes.
Jan 8th, 2025
- 6:30 PM: This will be the last Fargo Game Makers meetup available for prize pickups.
